Evolution Armor Systems has finished an extensive testing program and has passed the Interim 2005 NIJ test standard using 100% 600 denier Kevlar XLT material featuring Evo-Flex EV-5000 4P comprised of Kevlar 600 denier XLT, and now is officially NIJ Certified!
This is DuPon't best fiber on the market. In fact it's the only 100% Kevlar XLT product on the market.
It's Evo-Flex that has allowed the Kevlar XLT product to pass the NIJ test standard against back face signature or as it's better known as trauma . All the other companies mix it with plastic coated laminates. The model "Evolutions 5000 3-A" passed the NIJ test sequence with an average of 37.375mm BFS on 8 recorded readings using the small concealable NIJ test template. The V-50 against the 9mm was 1773 Ft./Sec.
This is Outstanding performance!
Also upcoming is our newest Skaalar Exo-Skin wafer flexible trauma/stab plates or panels. These are 40% lighter than our current Skaalar Exo-Skin Gen 1 system thanks to a new patent pending process of layering and encapsulating titanium to create the lightest most effective by weight flexible or rigid titanium plate or panel on the market today.
Our level 4 Skaalar Exo-Skin Gen 4 in recent testing matched the weight of rigid uniform thick ESAPI plates, which has been the major problem with flexible rifle armor, they weigh too much compared to rigid uniform thick plates. We have a new encapsulation process that is solving issues with the B4C ceramic in a flexible format.
We also have the level 3+ flexible rifle armor project concurrently showing promising results. We wrote the book on flexible rifle armor; we have documents showing work on this project dating back over 15 years.
Stay tuned for detailed product information and how you can purchase these new cutting edge technologies.
