The RRTV-2009 is officially being released on May 5th,
2009, and we have made many improvements to last year's model based on direct
feedback from DHS and SF Operators who have been using our units over the last
year.

A whole list of improvements have been made ranging from materials designed
to keep you drier and cooler to making the overall unit lighter. We will
have greater details available after May 5th, 2009, but thus far the reviews
of the people we are working with have been very good, and most importantly
we are introducing our newest Skaalar Exo-Skin Gen 4+ flexible rifle
armor product. Check back after May 5th for a detailed look at the
improvements. In the meantime you can go to our e-commerce site
www.easiarmor.com to check out our
close out of last year's models. The new design will be more expensive, so
if your short of cash and need some
good protection we have discounted
them to move in order to make way for the new models. See below for a
glimpse at one of the new designs and the new features added, we have one
more design coming that includes a novel and inventive feature that is now
patent pending. That design will be shown May 5th, 2009
These vests are pictures of prototype over the course of development, and we
are preparing to make our tactical units in a build sheet format with many
great features. Although we are still going to carry hard plates, Tote
Systems plates will be discontinued in favor of the new flexible rifle panel
and plate products. In the Skaalar Exo-Skin Generation 3+ product we
will be offering the product at the same price as a typical high performance
plate, so there will be no need for high end plates. The Skaalar Exo-Skin
Gen 4+ vest unit shown below will not be inexpensive, as it is comprised of
Hot Isostatic Pressed (HIP) B4C to attain it's 100% theoretical density, and
is only available to US Military due to the classified nature of the
material; one of the biggest difference with this material as compared to
hot pressed B4C is that it's NOT fragile, and you will not see a label that
says "Fragile Handle With Care".
Amazing!
